THE 4DAYS MARCHES FEELING

Choose your playlist and

listen at your own pace!

If you like to walk to music, we’ve got some playlists for you that will give you wings. Listening to music will release endorphins, oxytocin, and dopamine in your brain. These are our main pleasure-inducing chemicals, and they stimulate your reward system and motor cortex. A very welcome pick-me-up for when you hit an energy low along the way!

On Spotify, you will find walking playlists in all genres and beats per minute. These beats will help you maintain your rhythm and pace, or to get back to your pace when you’re struggling. Ideal walking tracks have between 115 and 118 beats per minutes (BPM) and can be found in many different genres of music. Want to up the pace? Pick a playlist with 120 BPM tracks. Whatever you do, pick songs that give you a boost from the very first notes of the intro!

If you don’t feel like wearing ear plugs, Stichting DE 4DAAGSE will have dozens of bands playing along the route to fire you up. Click here for the programme and the locations.
