Poems and gladioli

Good preparation

Heidi Koren, city poet of Nijmegen, wrote this poem especially for all those working in healthcare, that took many extra steps this year. Thank you!

Gladioli for the neighbours

For the residents near the Wedren it takes some getting used to... Normally, their neighborhood is the epicenter of the Four Days Marches, but for the past two years there has been a deafening silence during the third week of July. Board and employees of Stichting DE 4DAAGSE went to catch up and brought them some lovely gladioli.

The Alternative Four Days Marches of... Liesbeth van der Cammen

"Walking together is what brings us together!"

#fourdaysmarchesmemory

Anyone who has walked the Four Days Marches knows: it's a lot of fun, but sometimes it's also a matter of suffering and buckling down. Fortunately, there are the cheers of the spectators along the sidelines, the encouraging words of your fellow walkers, the helping hands of the Red Cross volunteers, the sports massages of the NGS… You walk the Four Days Marches together!
